WearicsTM has been created using breakthrough technology in signal reception and conduction through two different interfacing materials: textile and digital.

Textile sensing


With textile sensing, we are able to alleviate the various barriers that arise when using textile as a conductive substance. It also allows us to break through the barriers created through not using conductive lubricant (gel), the inability to shave body hair, yarn vulnerability, EMG interferences, and so on.

Originating from the heart’s electrical matrix, signals pass through different materials and interfaces, including skin, textile and textile / electronic circuits.

Textile conduction


Special techniques are applied in order to ensure the reliable conduction of the small-amplitude electrophysiological signals from the sensors to the monitoring device.

Impedance variations are limited to a small range and so assist in achieving accurate readings independent of body size and contour.

Digital processing


The signals created by WearicsTM are transmitted to a miniature diagnostic device that augments, filters and processes the information.

It analyzes data such as the 12/15 ECG leads, respiration impedance, activity level and falls. Then through analysis of that data, the device can alert the user, in real time, if there are any health issues of concern (such as ischemia or arrhythmias). It will also send an alert to a medical professional for further validation and analysis.

Tested by leading cardiologists, the reliability of the WearicsTM is comparable to diagnostic ECG:
